Extrachromosomal DNA Amplifications in Cancer

In this "inspire me" series talk, Dr. Roel Verhaak will share with us his research in extrachromosomal DNA in Cancer. Dr. Verhaak is a computational scientist who has contributed enormously to the world of brain cancer. In recent years, the Verhaak lab has successfully integrated wet lab methods of experimental study into their computational lab. In addition, the Verhaak lab has also evolved with the emerging field of single cell technologies, while still remaining focused on a niche area of research.
