About the event

The PANORAMIC TUTORIAL-LECTURE SERIES for single cell RNA sequencing

Chapter 1 | The Biologist toolkit for single cell & bulk computational analysis

---------------

COBE (Computational and Bench Scientist Ecosystem)

In this seminar, Paul Brogee (Computational Biology & Medicine Program) and Emily So (Haibe-Kains Lab, Code Ocean) will provide an introduction to the Computational & Bench Scientist Ecosystem (CoBE), a software pipeline search and recommendation system that allows users to quickly identify the tools they need for their -omics analyses. Join Paul and Emily as they walk through how to find the tools you need based on your data type and desired output, and how to execute several key single-cell analysis pipelines (scRNA-seq and scATAC-seq) on Princess Margaret’s Code Ocean Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). Attendees will leave with an understanding of the CoBE search system, the Code Ocean VPC, and the easily reproducible single-cell pipelines therein.
